SEEN ON THE SCENE: George Olliver toasted

Over 400 people packed the ballroom at St. Clements Hall the night of Sun. April 21 to witness George Olliver be toasted for half a century of stellar musical performances at the 14th Honouring Our Own event put on by Pete Otis and his SongTown enterprise.

An all-star cast joined George on stage for the finale numbers [right]

A framed copy of the HOO poster, a certificate of appreciation from the Province of Ontario and a gold-trimmed commemorative plate made by Cathy Young were all given to George, along with thunderous applause for his performances.
