Sound of Music throughout Burlington —if you can find it | TorontoMoon.ca 170612Mo | Shows for Monday, June 12, 2021

\ BURLINGTON \

My old hometown has really stepped things up a notch with its very enticingly eclectic roster of live music —almost all of it free of cover charges— during this week’s “Sound of Music” festival that started June 10 and runs till next Sunday.

A free “club series” of shows runs from last night through till Wednesday and like the big stage shows in Spencer Smith Park that took place last weekend and next, has some appealing talent ranging from Blues to Jazz, Rock tributes, indie and classic Pop, Country and Folk acts all mixed together.

My only problem with the otherwise fairly helpful website that lists all the events is that nowhere could I find any addresses for the club shows taking place in seven different rooms!  There appears to be an intention to link to the various rooms but nothing happens when you click them.

Some of the venues I already have on file and am listing the shows in those rooms accordingly [see 905 West section of the listings].  Others I’m not familiar with at all, but I do encourage anyone who’s knowledgeable to share the info for those to get them included.  If you can find them, there’s some interesting shows listed throughout the week!
