171008 (cx5) Moon land

\ OUTER SPACE, EARTH ORBIT \

No, TorontoMoon.ca hasn’t been around for 50 years, though the magazine project it stems from, which began with The Open Season in 1992 and continued through to-nite magazine and now The Moon, has been for more than half of that, at 27 years.

But today is the 50th anniversary of the U.S. landing on The Moon in 1969, which is either the greatest space travel or most stupendous cinematic triumph of its era, depending on whether or you believe it actually happened.  (Hint: it did!)

NASA may have more or less abandoned space travel in recent decades but TorontoMoon.ca solidiers on, listing and reporting on live music scene across the GTA and central Ontario.  Please help keep us doing so by becoming a subscriber today!
