Toronto Moon is the daily online magazine that covers the live music scene in the GTA.  As the successor to my hard-copy to-nite magazine (and “grandchild” of The Open Season) it is the publication that writes about the performers you actually know.  The Moon reflects the shining light of stars in the local music universe, from “The Six” of Toronto outwards into all sections of 905 and parts of the 519 and 705 regions.

Subscribers receive a daily email alert about new posts on the site, including embedded copies of the Daily Shows listings and new stories on the site along with live links to the posts. Subscribers who have websites can also have a residing link on our site’s Links page and whenever subscribers are mentioned in articles or listings they also have their name hot-linked to their choice of website or event page where applicable. Musician subscribers can also have a track posted on the site’s Music section at no extra charge, with a link to the POP site where their music can be purchased.

When you subscribe you also receive access to the website’s subscriber-only features including articles in The Vault, the Venues Directory (constantly updated and expanding listing of over 1900 Ontario venues, with addresses and, where available, live website links, phone info, etc.) and more. You also get access to the subscribers-only groups on Facebook, where links to posts reside and where subscribers can post promo for gigs that anyone can view and share.

On top of all that -and more importantly to some subscribers who aren’t musicians but who love the live music scene- you’ll be helping me to keep on keeping on doing the work I started in April of 1992 (over 25 years ago now!) covering and promoting the live music scene in the GTA.

Subscriptions cost $60 for one year (52 weeks), which works out to just $5 per month —or less than 17 cents a day. If cashflow is an issue, enquire about making arrangements to pay in installments. Trial subscriptions are also available for $10 or $20 (see the “Pick Your Plan” flyout menu to the right of this page).

There are three easy ways to pay: direct payment online via Interac e-transfer, direct deposit at a TD/Canada Trust bank branch or through PayPal (which also accepts major credit cards even without an account). Email us for details about making e-transfer payments or bank deposits. For PayPal/credit card payments follow the “Pick Your Plan” link.
