George Olliver to kick off tonight’s Honouring Our Own tribute show with a 14-piece band

If you haven’t yet heard about this evening’s stellar tribute to 50-year TO music veteran George Olliver taking place at St. Clement Hall (76 Overlea Blvd. just south of the Leaside area of east TO) then it’s time to climb out from under the rock beneath which you’ve been hibernating!

The 14th installment of the Honouring Our Own concert series put on by impresario Pete Otis of SongTown fame features Olliver along with various other iconic Toronto Sound performers such as Mike McKenna, Cathy Young, Luke & The Apostles, Steven Ambrose, Jay Douglas, Bobby Dupont and many more.

As if the show weren’t already spectacular enough, Otis has announced that Olliver will be kicking off the night at 7 p.m. with a 14-piece band! Some tickets should still be available when doors open at 6 or visit www.songtown.ca to get advance ducats for just $30 and for full lineup details. 17
