Back in the days when Grossman’s was actually the place to be to see live music (we’re talking a very long time ago!) Blues Rock guitarists Mike McDonald and Pat Rush were staples of what used to be a world-class roster that often also included the late Jeff Healey, a friend of both of them. The two survivors still perform there on rare occasions (last weekend for a Stones tribute show) but don’t really team up much at all these days.

Tonight however, the McDonald-Rush reunion takes place on in a room befitting their talent level on a really nicely appointed stage as they play Monarchs Pub in the Delta Chelsea Hotel at 33 Gerrard St. W. in downtown TO from 9-1.
