Signe’s indie Music City North 4-night College St. festival kicks off tonight

The new Music City North show series developed by sparkplug organizer and Pop Roots songwriter Signe Miranda is set to stage its most ambitious event yet starting tonight, as the four-evening “College Street Festival” series kicks off.

Involving seven venues in the College-Bathurst Streets area, the series kicks off with a media releae party featuring three acts tonight at Cherry Cola’s (300 Bathurst) and Thurs. there’s a dj show at Detour on Baldwin St. Things ramp up Friday to encompass live shows in four rooms and five on Saturday.

Cover charges range from free (tonight and tomorrow) to $6 or $10 for other venues, but $25 weekend pass wristbands are also available at any of the venues. See www.musiccitynorth.ca for more details.
