Hallowe’ekend Part 2 | TorontoMoon.ca 181027Sa | Shows for Saturday, October 27, 2021

There are some awesome Hallowe’en parties happening tonight and there are some that are bound to be rather lame.  One good clue as to which ones are likely to be the very best are when you see the H designating Hallowe’en party followed by a C, as in H,C|.  That’s your code to know that there’s a costume party with actual prizes, usually cash, such as at Southside Johnny’s in Etobicoke (where there’s also no cover) or at the very least a bar tab. That doesn’t mean that other Hallowe’en parties won’t also be a whole lot of fun, just that no information about a costume contest was available.

Some shows are not designated with the H| because while there’s a good chance performers almost everywhere, except at the most staid Classical or Jazz shows, will be in costume, the show was not designated as a Hallowe’en party in the listings we accessed.  We’ve taken a conservative approach to that to save you the embarrassment of showing up in costume and being the only one!  —though the way some people dress these days, who can really tell? LOL  In some cases clubs are holding parties tomorrow or even on October 31 itself! —how radical is that?!

Listings are organized by area in which the shows occur and within each area field shows are listed chronologically.  Listings preceded by an asterisk (*) are repeating weekly events. (Double asterisk indicates repeating event with different hosts/guest/etc.). Events preceded by question mark (?) usually take place but have not been confirmed. Admission prices followed by a slash and minus (/-) after the amount indicates door charge with availability of cheaper rates for some purchasers (eg.: seniors, students, members, kids, etc). /+ indicates stated price is minimum.
