Adrean Farrugia and Sophia Perlman -EVENT PROMO POSTER

\ TO CENTRAL \

Another of TO’s iconic Jazz clubs is experimenting with getting back to live music tonight, albeit with a show that appears to be happening on their patio rather than on the stage inside the room at 241 Victoria St. in downtown TO.

We told you recently about how Senator Restaurant is hosting live Jazz Friday afternoons from its narrow balcony that people on the streetside patio below can enjoy live.

Those shows aren’t streamed, however, but tonight’s 8-9 performance by Sophia Perlman and Adrean Farrugia can also be viewed online on the club’s Facebook page.

The duo are both accomplished performers. Perlman also doubles as singer/co-leader for the band PerlHaze and is a studio vocalist featured on numerous albums, while piano man Farrugia is a member of the music faculty of several schools, appears on over 40 albums and is much in demand by as an accompanist and guest player.
