Relish 2.0 at 511 Danforth Ave. -COURTESY

\ TO EAST \

After a roller coaster month and a Herculean effort to move her Relish tapas bistro of 13 years literally up the street into a new, larger and better-trafficked space, Joanne Clayton is ready to welcome the throngs in her new home at 511 Danforth Ave. near Logan.

“Relish 2.0” is now open and, featuring an expanded performance area with improved sound equipment, will continue to offer, along with tapas delights from chef Clayton et al, live music seven nights and two afternoons a week.

David Macmichael @ Relish -GARY 17

And who else better suited to kick things off this evening for the 7-9 show songwriter David Macmichael, who is also, of course, host of the room’s Sunday evening jam and one of the key staff members who have been on hand with Joanne pretty much since the beginning —certainly since she first started offering live music way back in early 2011.

I assume there’s still no cover either for David’s show or the evening’s 393rd installment of its New Music Night Saturday showcase featuring Indie Pop group Clockwise starting at 9:30.
