Tribute to Michelle Lecce at Fat Albert’s tonight | TorontoMoon.ca 170531We | Shows for Wed. May 31, 2022

\ TO CENTRAL \

We recently told you about the passing of popular songwriter Michelle Lecce-Hewitt, who succumbed to cancer on April 8 after a ten-year battle with the disease.  This month would have seen her turn 44 but instead tonight friends, fans and fellow players will gather to pay tribute to her in a venue she loved to perform at: the Fat Albert’s weekly open mic in the Steelworkers Hall at 25 Cecil St. off Spadina south of College.  The evening begins at 7 and I’d expect pretty much all of tonight’s performers will have some sort of an acknowledgement as to how she impacted their lives and art.
