Bridge open mic host Lynn Harrison -GARY 17

Bridge open mic host Lynn Harrison -GARY 17

\ TO CENTRAL \

Cute pics of pets will presumably be welcome along with songs or poems about lions and tigers and bears at tonight’s edition of The Bridge themed open mic hosted by Lynn Harrison at Tranzac Club in the Annex area of TO.

The monthly series —February’s edition of which was actually postponed due to the host being under the winter weather— has the theme of “animals” this evening.  And the 7 p.m. till 11 event is about as eclectic as you can get in terms of what participants bring to the stage, welcoming dance, art and any other imaginative forms of creative expression artists may choose to employ to share their experience.

No doubt many of the pieces shared by some of the very talented performers who regularly attend these events will be about the animal nature of humanity, but I wouldn’t be surprised to also see a few expressions of support for our fellow fauna residents of the planet.  And who knows what other surprises may be in store that no one would have thought of?

Cover is pay-what-you-can but no one will be denied entry to the main hall room of the facility at 292 Brunswick Ave. due to lack of funds.  Performers should arrive between 7 and the 7:30 show start to get a good spot on the list.
