Jacques Russell Trio -PROMO

Jacques Russell Trio -PROMO

\ TO CENTRAL-NORTH \

We’ve written previously about the monthly moMonday series of gatherings put on by Michel Neray for the past few years and which now take place in various locations across the province on at least an occasional basis.

The events combine inspirational talks by various guests of note along with musical performances and a mingling session that allows people to get to know the various featured guests and network among themselves.

Tonight at Alleycatz in the Yonge-Eglinton area the series kicks off a new Toronto North monthly edition and for the debut the musical feature will be none other than Michel’s own eclectic Jacques Russell Trio.  Playing a meld of Pop, Roots, Jazz and Gypsy music, the group also features Abbey Sholzberg on bass.

Speakers this evening for the 5:30-9 affair, in the casually swank room at 2409 Yonge St., include Jessica Santonato, Neelam Dhall, Mark Ber, Gail Scott and Nina Ruberto, all of whom have inspirational life stories to share.  You can read more about that on the event’s website.
